Camp Thendara has two private docks located on Lake Tiorati.
Our boat dock and boat house have a changing area and storage for our fleet of boats.
Members enjoy the use of our canoes, row boats and kayaks on the beautiful Lake Tiorati. Lake Tiorati was formed by clearing swampland in Harriman State Park and constructing a concrete dam to make two ponds into one large lake. The lake offers excellent swimming, fishing and boating. All of the Thendara boats have the necessary permits to operate on the lake.
Lake Tiorati has good fishing for large mouth bass, chain pickerel, perch and bluegills. A fishing license is required No gas motors are allowed.
Our floating swim dock has ample seating for sunning on those warm summer days. The swim area is roped for you safety and all of the required safety equipment is available.
