Once again, we had a very successful clean up weekend with 29 participants including 4 brand new members. I want to sincerely thank all who helped to clean, organize, repair and load up our wood supply for the summer.
In addition to the usual floor scrubbing, window washing, cobweb clearing and blanket shaking, we were also able to install racks to hold some of our larger pots, add a shelf to the pantry, provide lighting over the kitchen sink, clear the trail to the lake, place stepping stones in the often muddy step up to the front porch and repair screening. We still have a few items to complete so feel free to check in on how you might help out!
Our spring and fall clean up weekends are an important part of maintaining our precious lodge. Working together is what connects us to the club’s past, present and future and to each other!
Please join us next time!
